The River Creek on the Potomac community is located in Loudoun County, making students part of the Loudoun County Public School system.
Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) is the third-largest school division in the Commonwealth of Virginia (as of Fall 2020). Established in 1870, LCPS is located in the rapidly growing Washington metro area. Loudoun County is the fastest-growing county in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Each year, LCPS opens one to three new school facilities to accommodate our growing student population.
LCPS serves more than 81,000 students in 95 facilities. We operate 17 high schools, 17 middle schools, 59 elementary schools, and two educational centers (Academies of Loudoun and Douglass School).
